Who is David V. Kimball?

I’m a technical marketer and builder, and the Co-Founder and CEO of lilAgents. I write about marketing, productivity, and tech. There’s a longer version on my about page.

lilAgents is an ownership-first marketing and software agency I co-founded. You can learn more at lilagents.com.

Do you still work on Animelee or your old Smash Bros projects?

My focus these days is on lilAgents and the developer tools I build, so I’m not actively running my older gaming projects anymore. If you’re looking for that community, the best place to go is the following Discord servers: Melee Modding Workshop, m-ex, or Animelee.

What tools and Obsidian plugins do you make?

I build Vault CMS, a headless CMS powered by Obsidian and Astro, along with the Axis theme, Astro Modular, and several Obsidian plugins. Most of it lives on GitHub, and there’s more on my projects page.

How is this website built?

It’s a static Astro site published straight from an Obsidian vault with Vault CMS. I wrote about the whole journey in The History of My Personal Website.
