A few questions I get often. If yours isn't listed here, you can ask my AI at the bottom of the page.

## Who is David V. Kimball?

I'm a builder, and the Co-Founder and CEO of [lilAgents](https://lilagents.com). I co-host the [Retooled](https://lilagents.com/podcast/) podcast, make [Vault CMS](https://davidvkimball.com/vaultcms) and [Zeku](https://zeku.dev), and write about AI, productivity, and tech. There's a longer version on my [about page](https://davidvkimball.com/about).

## What is lilAgents?

lilAgents automates the busywork at medium-sized businesses, with a person on our team watching the work, and everything set up in accounts you own. I co-founded it with Dylan Baker in April 2025. You can learn more at [lilagents.com](https://lilagents.com), or read [why we pivoted to this](https://davidvkimball.com/posts/pivoting-my-agency).

## Do you have a podcast or a newsletter?

Both. [Retooled](https://lilagents.com/podcast/) is the podcast I co-host with Dylan Baker, where we talk with business leaders about how they've adapted to change. [Use It or Skip It](https://lilagents.com/blog/) is our newsletter on new AI for business owners. For my own writing, there's a [monthly email](https://davidvkimball.com/subscribe) too.

## Where can I find you online?

The full list of my profiles is on my [verify page](https://davidvkimball.com/verify). The fastest ways to reach me are my [contact page](https://davidvkimball.com/contact), [X](https://x.com/davidvkimball), and [Discord](https://discord.gg/gyrNHAwHK8).

## Do you still work on Animelee or your old Smash Bros projects?

My focus these days is on lilAgents and the developer tools I build, so I'm not actively running my older gaming projects anymore. If you're looking for that community, the best place to go is the following Discord servers: [Melee Modding Workshop](https://discord.gg/fFS6uQk), [m-ex](https://discord.gg/XxdFN9JnMX), or [Animelee](https://discord.gg/e6KpgHPxFZ).

## What tools and Obsidian plugins do you make?

I build [Vault CMS](https://davidvkimball.com/vaultcms), a headless CMS powered by [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md) and [Astro](https://astro.build), and [Zeku](https://zeku.dev), a writing app for Astro sites if you'd rather not use Obsidian. I also make the Astro themes [Astro Modular](https://astro-modular.netlify.app/), [Axis](https://davidvkimball.com/store#axis), [Coffer](https://davidvkimball.com/store#coffer), and [Continuum](https://davidvkimball.com/store#continuum), along with [several Obsidian plugins](https://davidvkimball.com/posts/my-obsidian-plugins-and-themes). The paid ones are on my [store](https://davidvkimball.com/store), most of the rest lives on [GitHub](https://github.com/davidvkimball), and there's more on my [projects page](https://davidvkimball.com/projects).

## How is this website built?

It's a static Astro site published straight from an Obsidian vault with [Vault CMS](https://davidvkimball.com/vaultcms). I wrote about the whole journey in [The History of My Personal Website](https://davidvkimball.com/posts/the-history-of-my-personal-website).

## How can I work with you or hire lilAgents?

To book me for a talk or a podcast, use my [speaking page](https://davidvkimball.com/speaking). If your business has busywork you'd like off its plate, [book a call with lilAgents](https://lilagents.com/contact/) directly.

## What are you working on right now?

I keep a running snapshot on my [now page](https://davidvkimball.com/now).
